Step-by-step: Neutral cut crease with a pop of color

Hi loves! I just realized that I haven’t done a step-by-step post in a very long time, so this is what I came up with today. Let me know what you think!

Step-by-step:
1. Start by priming the eyelid to prevent the eyeshadows from creasing. Apply a white base to the entire eyelid.
2. Pat on a off white eyeshadow on the eyelid.
3. Apply a skin tone eyeshadow to the crease and blend with a blending brush.
4. With a dense eyeshadow brush, apply a dark brown to the crease and blend.
5. To cut the crease, take the same dense eyeshadow brush and apply a black eyeshadow to the crease of the eye.
6. Blend out the harsh lines.
7. Reapply the off white eyeshadow to the lid.
8. Do a winged eyeliner using liquid or cream eyeliner.
9. Take a turquoise eye pencil and apply it to the waterline. Set the pencil with a turquoise eyeshadow.
10. Apply some false eyelashes or mascara.
11. Apply a coat of mascara on the bottom lashes

    1. Thank you! it’s quite an easy look so it won’t be a problem for you. You know how to do makeup! i’ve seen ya 😉 I think you should give it a try! x

  1. Ok just started following your blog today and this look is so pretty that I already tried it…and failed! Lol. Any tips on how to do the liner on the waterline. I just can not get this concept down!

      1. Ehh I’m going to have to try it again then post it for you! Lol. I used NYX slim eye pencil in baby blue (closest thing to turquoise I had). One, I think the color was just too pastellish on me. Two it looks like in your pic that your not using a regular pencil? Is that the secret! Help! I also have like nonexistent bottom lashes :(.

      2. Great! I used a jumbo eye pencil by L.A Colors, I saw in your makeup haul that you’ve bought NYX jumbo pencil (its BOMB.COM btw love it) apply that on your waterline and on top of that apply a turquoise or a blue eyeshadow! that will work as well!
